Hello, my name is Terri and I live in the Puyallup, Washington, about 30 miles south of Seattle. I've been married for nearly 28 years and we have two grown children and one beautiful grandchild. For as long as I can remember I've always been taking pictures, but about eight years ago I feel that I made the transition from taking pictures to taking photographs. Photography has literally changed my life and opened my eyes...it's truly a passion for me! Nature and the outdoors are an endless beauty that I will never tire of photographing. Besides photographing the beauty around us, I also enjoy working on the computer and "dabbling" a bit with Photoshop as well as creating such things as note cards and calendars. Another aspect of photography I've discovered is natural light and outdoor portraits...I enjoy the natural and relaxed environment that allows me to capture the essence of an individual or a group. Children are especially fun, their energy and spirit are delightful to witness. I also have a small studio in our home and am able to take both natural light photos as well as studio portraits. Living in the Pacific Northwest it is not always possible to shoot outdoors...and my studio allows me to continue to do portrait work year round! Of course, with little ones, sometimes the indoors is best no matter what the time of year!
